ANNUAL REPORT 2025 -2026

Esteemed chief guest of the day- Very Rev. Yakoob Ramban, The honorable MLA- Adv.Chandy Oommen, Shri Sam Varkey- Panchayath Member, Rev. Fr. Bibin Varkey (PTA President), Executive members, Parents, Well-wishers, Teaching and non-teaching staff and my dear children. Good afternoon and a warm welcome to this annual day.

As we approach the far end of this year and 28 years of our service towards providing quality education, we take this opportunity to thank the Almighty Lord for his abundant blessings, and guidance from our patron saint.

We would like to share the yearly updates of our activities. We assure you that we did our level best, to do as we had planned and we are proud of our students, teachers and parents who made every effort to achieve them beyond expectations. This report is a nutshell of all our activities of this year.

REOPENING THE SCHOLASTIC YEAR 2025-2026

The scholastic year 2025-2026 was commenced on 2nd June Monday 2025. As the children returned with renewed energy, enthusiasm and vitality, they received a warm and affectionate reception from the Manager, the Principal, the Academic Director who exhorted them to adopt strong and challenging resolutions to make this a unique achievement year.

The Nursery & KG children were affectionately welcomed to the school on 4th June Monday to commence their new year of experience and the discovery of a newer world. UKG students welcomed the 1 LKG students with Songs, Dance, Speech, and quiz. Our praveshanollsavam was a grand function with new parents.

SMC Meetings -First SMC Meeting was held on 30th May at the school premises School Manager, Principal, Academic Director, Teacher representatives and Parent representatives discussed about the academic performance in 2024-25 and appreciated the results of all classes from play class to X. Year plan for 2025-26 was made. NEP related changes in the curriculum and other student welfare programmes were thought out.

SCHOLASTIC PERFORMANCE OF CLASS X [2025] AISSE

Our class X batch of 2024-2025 brought laurels by their stellar performance in the Board Exam by securing 100% pass in all subjects. School Topper was ATHULKRISHNA MANEESH. TEACHERS TRAINING - All teachers enrolled and participated in

the online training conducted by CBSE. It was conducted in two

phases-off the job training and on the job training by CBSE, Lead and

other agencies.

THE WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

The World Environment Day was celebrated on 5th June with gusto and grandeur by the staff, students and the parents. The highlights of the day were special assembly, sapling planting, Environment Quiz competition, and drawing based on 2025 Nature Theme Campaign “Our land our future and we are Generation for Restoration” .

PTA MEETING

First PTA meeting was held on 7th June Saturday afternoon. Parent orientation class as delivered by Dr. Mathew Kanamala Professor St. Joseph’s College Molamattom(family counsellor) and motivation speaker. New PTA Committee was formed and Mr. Bibin Varkey was selected as the PTA president. We have convened meetings of the executive of the PTA. All most all the members have attended the PTA meetings. Excellence awards were distributed to Class X toppers. Further PTA meetings were conducted after Periodic Tests and half yearly examination for all classes. PTA Executive committee meetings were held on 21st August and 10th December and suggestions are incorporated

CCA

CCA started on 13th June Friday with students’ group for Dance, Karate, Yoga, Chess, Organ and Drawing

SCHOOL ASSEMBLY

On every Wednesday special assembly was conducted highlighting the important days of the week and valuable messages were given to students throughout the year to develop a value system in students.

NATIONAL READING DAY

National Reading Day was celebrated on June 19 with reading competitions in all languages -English, Malayalam and Hindi.

International Yoga Day - was celebrated on 21th June with the theme “Yoga for self and society”. Programmes conducted were

Development of English Language is one of the utmost aims of our

institution Along with everyday practice and listening to lead audio

classes, Special teachers are appointed to monitor and develop

English Language continuously.to improve handwriting and spelling

a special 3 phase correction of note books is undertaken from last

year.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

Independence Day was celebrated on Aug 15. School Principal

hoisted the flag and addressed the gathering. The day witnessed the

school band display, flag Making competition, march past, theme -

based assembly, the flag salute and the Independence Day quiz.

Finally, sweets distribution added a greater cheer to the inculcation of

the patriotic feelings envisaged in the celebration.

TEACHERS DAY

Teachers Day was celebrated on 5th September. Students arranged

many programmes to respect and honour all the teachers.

Student Bank was inaugurated by the school manager and initiated

saving habits in all students.

HINDI DIV AS

On September 14th we observed National Hindi day. The day

honored the occasion when Hindi was adopted as one of India's

official languages. Students made charts and performed various

activities in their classes. Special assembly was conducted in Hindi.

GANDHI JAYANTHI

On October 2nd, Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated in a befitting manner

with special assembly, programs and competition.

MOY-TERM 1 Examination was started on 21 st October and it was

noticed that all students improved their writing skills, knowledge and

results.

SAHODAYA SARGASANGAMAM

Sahodaya Sargasangamam 2025 was Conducted in Placid Vdyavihar

Changanacherry . Our studen ts participated in 3 8 items and won a

total of 1 98 points. Joshua Arun Thomas class V won 3 rd prize in

Essay Writing English and others got A and B grades. Congratulations

to all students, parents and teachers who took the pain to achieve this

higher grade.

CULTURAL CELEBRATIONS:

Play Class, LKG, UKG had special programmes for Onam,

Independence, day, Childrens day, Fruits Day, Arts Day, Sports Day

and in their every school day to develop their overall personality and

prepare them to the next class.

ONAM- Onam was celebrated on 29 th August with Pookalam and

Payasam. Competitions were held for enjoyment.

ARTS FESTIV AL-Various competitions to nourish the talents were

conducted on 11 th and 12 th september which included Nadanpattu ,

Light Music, Mime, Folk Dance, Storytelling, Recitation, Drama,

Bharatanatyam, Group songs, etc. All the students participated and

performed well. Georgious performance of all students were highly

appreciated and awarded.

CHRISTMAS – Today, this 23rd December Christmas day was

celebrated.

ECUMENICAL Our children performed a soulful carol service at

Den Bosco Higher Secondary School Puthuppally. Congratulations to

all students and teachers for their dedicated service and performance.

STUDENTS BIRTHDAYS

We celebrated students ’ birthdays amongst the whole school in

weekly assemblies and blessed them with sweets.

CHILDREN'S DAY

November 14th reminds us the birth of Jawaharlal Nehru, the

country's first Prime Minister, we celebrated Children's Day with

rally and cosplays.

School Band -Our school band is famous among the CBSE Schools

in Kottayam District. 28 Girls actively participate in the school band.

VEGETABLE AND FRUIT DAY

To make the children understand that vegetables are an essential

component of a healthy diet for physical growth and sound health, a

mock vegetable and fruit market was set up in the K G Section. Our

children also did skits playing the role of vegetable vendor. Fruit and

vegetable crafts, rhymes, activities, games, and other resources

presented in an exciting way for our children to learn about these

healthy foods.

YOGA PRACTICES

Yoga allows the mind and body to be connected with each other. It

incorporates meditation, breathing exercises, and stretches to reduce

stress, and allow relaxation, and rejuvenation. Interested children

were provided yoga classes.

SPORTS DAY AND FOOD FEST

Sports day and food fest were conducted on 25th September. Various

competitions were held. for all classes and musical chair, lemon

spoon race, frog jump race, Memory Game, Slow Walk, Sweet

Picking, Bindi on beauty, Aim the target , Blind fold game etc. for

kids. Tasty food was also made with the help of teachers and other

faculties as part of the food fest.

EDUCATIONAL TRIP

Classes 10 , 9 enjoyed an Educational trip to Munnar on 18th

November . Students from classes 4 to 10 were involved in the trip to

Ernakulam Chittiappally Archade and all enjoyed the trip .

Class LKG - UKG enjoyed trip to I Drive Kodimatha . Classes 1- 4

will have an amazing trip in January.

READING AND COMPREHENSION

Reading comprehension is given utmost importance this year. So

active steps were taken to improve the reading capacity and

comprehension power of all students in all the languages English,

Malayalam and Hindi. Along with reading , Mathematical ability of

the students was also given maximum care. All students were taught

and practiced with multiplication tables and I am very happy to

convey you that all our students got perfection in using multiplication

tables and thus improved mathematical perfection.

Our students participated in the Maths Quiz in AKM Public School,

Changacherry, general quiz competition in BMM school and MD

Seminary Higher Secondary School Kottayam and won so many

prizes.

CHESS LITERACY

I am very happy to inform the parents that St. Mary's Public School

Puthuppally becomes the first Chess Literate School in Kerala. All

students from class 1-10 are educated in playing chess. Our students

participated in the chess competitions held in Baker Vidhyapeedu,

Alphonsa Public School Kudamalloor, Girideepam Bethany Public

School, SFS Public School Ettumanoor and won so many Prizes and

A Grade.

Other feathers in our cap.

Certain novel activities were conducted for the students from KG

section, so as to equip them to modern developments in science and

technology.

1) Under the leadership of' LEAD', Gamification, that is... (the

application of typical elements of game playing, to other areas of

activity) was conducted for the KG students.

SCHOLASTIC PROGRAMS

Excellent Teaching -Learning took place during the academic year.

Periodic Test 1 & 11 and 1"Term Examinations for all classes have

been completed. Model Exams started for class X students.

Upcoming Events for this academic year are Model Exam for class

X, periodic test 3 for all the other classes, Board Examination for

class X (Commenc es from Feb 1 7) and Annual Examination for all

classes from LKG to IX by the end of March.

VISION 2025

It's our projected vision within this decade to churn out students

ready to pursue professional studies in premier colleges like AIIMS,

IITS, IIMS, ILAS, NDA ,ISRO, DRDO, IISER, ICAL, ACS, Civil

Services, ACA.... etc... To equip the students for these prestigious

institutions, we have commenced a series of exercises for reinforcing

English Language skills, mathematic calculations and scientific

applications. I solicit the active cooperation of parents to make this

ambitious project a grand success for the benefit of our children.

LEAD

For casting the future of our students and preparing them to face the

21" century challenges in education and career, our school

collaborated with LEAD, a National Education Consultancy and

Academic So lution provider to transform education with National

and International exposure. It is noticed that students developed their

studies and personality because of the audio-visual teaching and

learning. Students found learning more interesting now.

In conclu sion, I thank God Almighty for the manifold

blessings he has showered won us during the past 2 8 years. I am

profoundly grateful to all our good parents for your loving concern,

suggestions, cooperation and support. Finally, I express my gratitude

to the wo nderful staff and students for their ever -ready positive

response to make this institution achieve its Vision and Mission. May

I convey the season's greetings, Happy Xmas and wishes for a blessed

and cheerful 202 6. Thank You. God bless us all. Thank you once
